Vijay Sethupathi FINALLY addresses rumors of working with Ajith Kumar on a movie: ’We almost…’

Vijay Sethupathi is known for his exceptional talent within Tamil cinema. As a result, it’s no surprise that he has collaborated with many top-tier actors from the same industry. However, enthusiasts of Makkal Selvan are still looking forward to the moment when he will star alongside Ajith Kumar in a movie.

More recently, the actor portraying the Maharaja was asked the same significant question during a gathering at a college in Perambalur. Eager fans inquired from him about the possibility of seeing him and Ajith working on a project together.

In response, the actor pointed out that they had nearly secured a chance to collaborate in the past, but it never came to fruition. He added that his career has always been spontaneous and unpredictable, so he continues to harbor hopes for the perfect opportunity to act alongside the Vidaamuyarchi star.

Vijay shared, “Often folks ask me about this. Once upon a time, we nearly collaborated, but it didn’t materialize. I admire Ajith sir immensely as an actor and individual. My career hasn’t been planned out; when the perfect chance arises, it’ll unfold organically.

Without a doubt, the actor from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan has collaborated with some of the most prominent figures in the industry, including Thalapathy Vijay. In fact, they starred together in the movie Master, which turned into an extraordinary blockbuster and has retained its status as a beloved cult classic to this day.

During a past interview with Behindwoods TV, the actor reminisced about his time on the set of Master and shared that Vijay (Thalapathy) was truly delightful to collaborate with.

From my perspective as a lifestyle expert, when it comes to our beloved Tamil cinema industry, Vijay Sethupathi has an exciting lineup ahead with films like “Gandhi Talks”, “Ace” and “Train” in the pipeline. Meanwhile, Ajith Kumar has just wowed us all with his outstanding performance in the Magizh Thirumeni-directed blockbuster, “Vidaamuyarchi”.

He has Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly lined up next, among other untitled projects.
