Recently, Vijay Deverakonda created a buzz online with the sneak peek of his upcoming film titled Kingdom. With its theater debut scheduled for May 30, 2025, the actor was spotted in Vizag to wrap up the last phase of shooting.
In a video posted by Suresh PRO, the actor is seen wearing a stylish linen garment, casually exuding his relaxed appeal, all the while preserving the enigmatic air of his character.

Previously, the actor was caught on camera departing from Hyderabad, heading towards the movie’s set. His departure was witnessed at the airport by a swarm of photographers.

The intriguing trailer for Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom has been generating a lot of excitement online ever since its debut on February 12, 2025. This trailer was presented in three distinct languages – Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi – with narrations provided by Jr NTR, Suriya, and Ranbir Kapoor respectively.
Amidst the tumultuous setting of a war, the trailer vividly shows ordinary individuals enduring hardships and fighting for their lives. Through compelling narrations delivered by all three actors, a tense atmosphere is created, illustrating the rise of a hero who eventually rises to save them, becoming their champion.
According to reports, the upcoming film is said to be an action-packed thriller, with Vijay stepping into the role of a police officer. At this point, specifics about the movie’s plot and characters are still under wraps. Although Vijy has been confirmed as the lead actor, the identities of other cast members have yet to be announced. This film is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who previously gained recognition for his work in Jersey.
Previously, the movie’s producer stated that the film is planned as a two-part production, with each part taking place in distinct time periods.
In terms of his career, Vijay Deverakonda recently starred as the main character in The Family Star (2024), working alongside Mrunal Thakur. Furthermore, he made a brief appearance in the production titled Kalki 2898 AD.
