As a die-hard fan of Telugu cinema, I must say that the release of Jr NTR’s “Devara” has made my heart skip a beat! After six long years, it’s fantastic to see our beloved star back on the big screen. The fact that SS Rajamouli, who has been instrumental in shaping Jr NTR’s career, was there for the first-day first-show, just adds to the excitement.
Today, September 27, Jr NTR’s long-anticipated movie titled Devara has premiered in cinemas. This film is directed by Koratala Siva and represents Jr NTR’s first individual release in a six-year span. Excitedly, SS Rajamouli attended the opening day screening of the movie at a theater in Hyderabad. Clips of his arrival are currently trending on social media platforms.
In the video, SS Rajamouli and his family, including his wife Rama Rajamouli, are spotted entering a theater. Fans in the cinema hall erupted with enthusiasm for the filmmaker, creating quite a scene. Overwhelmed by the enthusiastic reception of the audience, RRR’s director, SS Rajamouli, waved back before settling down to watch Devara.

SS Rajamouli has a strong relationship with Jr NTR, and together they’ve contributed to numerous ventures so far. Their creative paths have crossed on movies like Simhadri (2003), Yamadonga (2007), and RRR (2022).
In my latest chat with the press, Jr NTR revealed a unique perspective on his current project compared to RRR. To put it simply, this new movie seems like an intensely personal journey for me, as opposed to the collaborative effort that was RRR where I worked alongside Ram Charan.

In the movie titled “Devara”, Jr NTR takes on a double role, depicting both the fatherly figure and his own son on-screen.
