“Victorious” Spinoff “Hollywood Arts” Starring Daniella Monet Heads To Netflix

The long-awaited spin-off of Victorious, titled Hollywood Arts, is now confirmed! Daniella Monet will return as her popular character, Trina Vega.

Hollywood Arts To Air On Netflix

Netflix has committed to the series, initially ordering 26 episodes. This deal is believed to have happened recently, after Skydance and Paramount merged in August. That merger also resulted in the exit of Brian Robbins, who had been a leader at Nickelodeon for many years, as well as other key executives.

Jake Farrow and Samantha Martin created the show, and Paramount Television Studios produced it.

In addition to starring, Monet will also serve as an executive producer.

Release Date And Plot

The show will debut on Netflix in 2026, but we don’t have a specific release date yet.

Okay, so in this show, Hollywood Arts, there’s this actress, Trina Vega – played by Daniella Monet – and she’s kinda down on her luck. She ends up back at her old high school, but as a substitute teacher and she’s definitely not prepared! It’s fun watching her try to teach and actually connect with these super talented, driven students at Hollywood’s top performing arts school.

Monet recently expressed her excitement about the upcoming sequel:

“Coming back as Trina alongside such a dynamic, powerful cast of newcomers is something I feel very lucky and grateful to do. […] As an actress, producer, and mom, I am so eager to create something we can all be proud to share with the world.”

She also thanked former Victorious cast members for their supportive reactions on the project.

Cast

Auditions for the Hollywood Arts series started in February 2025, but it’s still unknown if other original Victorious cast members, like Victoria Justice, will be involved. It would make sense for Victoria Justice’s character, Tori Vega, to appear from time to time, perhaps visiting her sister, Trina Vega (played by Daniella Monet).

In April 2025, Elizabeth Gillies, known for playing Jade West, said she’d be interested in returning to the role. Matt Bennett, who played Robbie Shapiro, also suggested he might be up for a return around then. Ariana Grande, who played Cat Valentine, hasn’t said anything about it yet.

Here is a full list of the known cast so far:

  • Daniella Monet as Trina Vega
  • Alyssa Miles as Emmy
  • Peyton Jackson as Qwest
  • Martin Kamm as Oscar
  • Emmy Liu-Wang as Pepper
  • Erika Swayze as Jen Z
  • Yvette Nicole Brown as Principal Helen Dubois (Recurring)
