The teaser of Manasilaayo has me dancing with joy, and I just can’t wait to hear Malaysia Vasudevan’s voice once more, thanks to the wonders of AI. It’s like a dream come true, and it feels as if time has traveled backward 27 years!

One of the most eagerly awaited films this year, titled “Vettaiyan” and starring superstar Rajinikanth, has sparked great anticipation among fans. Just recently, a teaser for the movie’s first single called “Manasilaayo” was shared, causing widespread excitement. Notably, the song is being produced by the acclaimed Anirudh Ravichander and will be released on September 9th.

Returning to the topic, the song “Manasilaayo” is a hit that features superstar Rajinikanth and Anirudh Ravichander presenting themselves in a trendy manner. Rajinikanth exudes elegance while donning a sleek black suit and dark sunglasses. At the same time, Anirudh complements his style in a light-colored traditional attire, known as a veshti.

The standout feature of the song is the enchanting vocals by Malaysia Vasudevan. Known for being a prominent Malaysian-Indian singer and actor in Tamil cinema, he passed away in Chennai in 2011. His powerful voice has been revived with the use of AI technology in the film Vettaiyan.

For those who might not be familiar, the actors Rajinikanth and Malaysia Vasudevan last appeared together in the movie “Oor Kavalan” way back in 1987. This film was a hit and signified the end of their collaborations on screen.

Notably, this project marks the 170th venture for the esteemed actor Rajinikanth and boasts a talented ensemble cast consisting of Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Dushara Vijayan, and others.

In this movie, it seems that the storyline revolves around the character of Rajinikanth, portraying a former policeman who takes on the challenge of combating corruption within the system. Although specific details about the plot are being withheld, it’s clear that the film will deliver thrilling drama and action-packed scenes.

Originally, Vettaiyan was scheduled to go head-to-head with Suriya’s action movie Kanguva in October. But the makers of Kanguva decided to change its release date so as not to face a direct fight with Rajinikanth’s film. Now, it looks like Kanguva will be released on October 31 instead.
