As a die-hard fan of Tamil cinema who has grown up watching the magical performances of Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan, I can hardly contain my excitement for their upcoming collaboration in Vettaiyan! The prospect of witnessing these two titans share the screen after 33 years is nothing short of a dream come true.

In the upcoming film “Vettaiyan,” slated for release on October 10, 2024, screen legends Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan will make their appearance. Notably, actor VJ Rakshan has shared insights about his character, Tharan, expressing great enthusiasm over the opportunity to collaborate with the superstar.

In a video posted by the film producers, Rakshan expressed, “My role is rather lovable, and I think it will resonate with all viewers. He’s a character who comprehends the influence of social media in our modern world. With Gnanavel’s scriptwriting, this character showcases the full capabilities of social media.

Furthermore, the performer and talk show host expressed his past awe at Rajinikanth’s dance moves in films. Normally, his cinema enjoyment would be interrupted by others in the theater. But this time, he was able to fully savor the actor’s dancing talent up close. The performer also disclosed that he hadn’t known he would be dancing in the song until the day of filming.

As a diehard fan, I can’t help but share my thoughts on a fascinating insight I recently stumbled upon. Gnanavel, the mastermind behind our beloved superstar, revealed that Rajinikanth seems to be deeply rooted in portraying characters larger than life. This, in turn, limited the director to only expressing half of his original vision in the film.

The upcoming film “Vettaiyan” is being widely anticipated as it combines elements of action and drama within the cop genre. Notably, Rajinikanth portrays an IPS officer in this production, but what’s truly intriguing is that Amitabh Bachchan, a veteran actor, will be sharing the screen with him once more after a gap of 33 years.

Additionally, the movie boasts a talented group of performers such as Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Rithika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan, who all play significant parts in the production.
