Venom: The Last Dance Channels Wicked in Hilarious Parody Poster

As a die-hard fan of comic book adaptations and musicals alike, I can hardly contain my excitement with the upcoming releases of both Venom: The Last Dance and Wicked! Having grown up watching Spider-Man’s sinister symbiote take on various forms in the comics, it’s fascinating to see Tom Hardy embody Eddie Brock/Venom one last time in this thrilling trilogy.

Venom knows about popular.

As Wicked premieres in U.S. cinemas on November 22, 2024, the X has unveiled a fresh poster saluting the upcoming stage-to-screen musical adaptation, directed by Jon M. Chu.

“Don’t miss the final movie in the trilogy,” the post’s caption reads.

What are Venom 3 and Wicked about?

In October 2024, the movie titled “Venom: The Last Dance,” or simply “Venom 3,” hit the screens in U.S. theaters. This film was both directed and written by Kelly Marcel, with Tom Hardy once again taking on the dual role of Eddie Brock and Venom.

In addition to the main characters, we have Chiwetel Ejiofor portraying Rex Strickland, Juno Temple taking on the role of Dr. Teddy Payne, Rhys Ifans as Martin Moon, Stephen Graham as Patrick Mulligan, Peggy Lu as Mrs. Chen, Clark Backo as Sadie Christmas, Alanna Ubach as Nova Moon, and Andy Serkis in the character of Knull.

In the movie “Venom: The Last Dance,” Tom Hardy reappears as the enigmatic character Venom, one of Marvel’s most intricate figures. The storyline for this film marks the end of the trilogy. Throughout the plot, Eddie and Venom are evading capture, pursued by both their individual realms. As the noose tightens around them, they find themselves at a critical juncture that will ultimately conclude the tale of Venom and Eddie’s partnership.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’d rephrase it like this: “Hey there! I’m diving right into ‘Wicked,’ the first installment of this two-part cinematic journey inspired by the beloved stage musical with the same name. The script is penned by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox, and it features a stellar cast. Cynthia Erivo brings Elphaba Thropp to life, Ariana Grande shines as Galinda Upland, Michelle Yeoh captivates as Madame Morrible, Jeff Goldblum dons the hat of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Jonathan Bailey plays Fiyero Tigelaar, Ethan Slater is Boq Woodsman, and Marissa Bode embodies Nessarose Thropp.

In the untold tale of Oz’s witches, “Wicked,” brings together Cynthia Erivo (Harriet, Broadway’s The Color Purple) as Elphaba, a green-skinned woman struggling to accept her unique powers, and Ariana Grande (a Grammy-winning artist and global sensation) as Glinda, a privileged young lady who is yet to discover the depth of her heart. They become friends at Shiz University in Oz’s magical realm, but their paths diverge after an encounter with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. As Glinda becomes captivated by power due to her ambition for popularity, Elphaba stands firm in her beliefs and self, leading to unforeseen and shocking consequences for her future. Their adventures in Oz ultimately lead them to fulfill their destinies as Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
