This past weekend marked the finals of The Arc World Tour 2024, bringing a wealth of upcoming content details for Guilty Gear Strive to light. First off, Venom is set to debut next week, immediately following the conclusion of the finals. However, that’s not all we learned. It appears that Guilty Gear Strive will receive another update in May 2025, which includes refined Frame Data tools along with the addition of a new character called Unika. Additionally, a new Ranked Match mode is scheduled for June 2025.

During the Arc World Tour 2024 Finals and subsequent Guilty Gear Strive tournament rounds, as well as on Arc System Works’ YouTube channels, we were given a comprehensive preview of Venom. Venom, an assassin with a dark magic theme revolving around billiard balls and cue sticks, looked better than ever during this showcase. It was also announced that Venom will be released on March 24, 2025. His abilities include deploying up to four balls that can be shot at various angles based on the normal he strikes them with. Additionally, he has the capability to charge a shot and turn the ball into a multi-hit projectile. Lastly, his powerful super move, Dark Angel, drains health even when blocked.

In addition to Venom’s captivating new tunes, Guilty Gear Strive also unveiled some exciting news. Besides Venom making his debut this week, Unika, a key character from the upcoming Dual Rulers anime, is set to join in May 2025. This announcement comes with an update that enhances the frame data display tools within the training mode for better gameplay experience. In another update coming in June 2025, a new Ranked Mode will be introduced for the game.

In a delightfully sinister manner, Venom appears as his delectably villainous self, and this time, he’s accompanied by Robo Ky! Keep an eye out for updates regarding the Guilty Gear Season Pass 4, coming soon to Shacknews!
