As per a report by Devipriya, it’s expected that the long-anticipated partnership between the seasoned actor and the director known for Julayi will start filming in August this very year.
Previously, producer Naga Vamsi announced via a social media update that he would be collaborating with the director on two upcoming films. One of these projects stars Venkatesh Daggubati, while the other features Jr NTR.

This captivating collaboration with director Trivikram Srinivas is set to bring a story inspired by Hindu mythology to life. The tale we’re about to embark on revolves around Lord Karthikeya, a deity close to our hearts. I can hardly wait to see this masterpiece unfold!
Originally, the mythological film was planned to feature Allu Arjun as the lead actor, marking his 23rd film. But due to a packed schedule for Atlee’s next movie, codenamed AA22xA6, the Pushpa star decided to withdraw from the project. Instead, Jr NTR stepped in to take on the role.
Instead of waiting for Jr NTR’s upcoming projects to wrap up, the acclaimed director has decided to work on a new project featuring Venkatesh Daggubati first, before moving on to the anticipated movie.
On the professional scene of Venkatesh Daggubati, the esteemed actor recently starred in Sankranthiki Vasthunam, a role he played in this action-comedy movie. Notably, this was Anil Ravipudi’s third project with the actor, following F2: Fun and Frustration and its sequel, F3: Fun and Frustration, where they collaborated both as writer and director.
The tale in Sankranthiki Vasthunam revolves around YD Raju, a retired IPS officer living peacefully with his spouse in a village. But when an intricate kidnapping incident arises, his previous love, now an investigating officer, requests his aid. As this duo collaborates to unravel the mystery, the wife, questioning her husband’s faithfulness, chooses to join them on their investigation.
The rest of the story sets the stage for an entertaining ride filled with action and comedy.
Alongside Venkatesh, the film boasts Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary as its main actors. Additionally, an extensive cast plays significant roles, with Srinivasa Reddy, Sai Kumar, Upendra Limaye, Raghu Babu, Naresh, and several others included in this group.
Furthermore, it has been observed that the actor has taken on the character of Naga Naidu once more for the second season of the Netflix show, titled Rana Naidu.
