VD13: Vijay Deverakonda’s next with Ravi Kiran Kola to be titled Rowdy Janardhana? Producer Dil Raju reveals

As a die-hard fan, I can hardly contain my excitement as Vijay Deverakonda prepares for the grand unveiling of his upcoming film, Kingdom, set to hit theaters on May 30, 2025! But And guess what? The ever-reliable Dil Raju has let slip a tidbit about its title. Now, if only I could find out what it is!

At a recent press conference, the producer inadvertently revealed that the movie VD13 will be known as “Rowdy Janardhana.” This well-known filmmaker was present at the event commemorating the re-release of the film Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, starring Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh Daggubati, which took place on March 5, 2025.

Discussing the upcoming films he’s producing, Dil Raju shared that the Vijay Deverakonda film, Rowdy Janardhana, and Nithiin’s movie titled Yellamma will start filming in either April or May. He further added that both productions have already wrapped up their pre-production phases.

In simple terms, the upcoming film titled “Rowdy Janardhana” is expected to be set against the scenic Rayalaseema region and serves as a second production partnership between the producer and the actor, following their first project together called “The Family Star”. The film is being directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, who previously created the movie “Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru”.

Recently, there’s been a lot of buzz online about Vijay Deverakonda following the reveal of the teaser for his upcoming film, titled “Kingdom.” The movie’s title teaser was presented in three languages: Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.

Coming soon is an exhilarating action movie helmed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, known for Jersey. It’s planned to debut in two installments. The plot unfolds against the backdrop of war, chronicling the ascension of a hero who shields his community from every potential threat.

Although we don’t know who else is part of the cast, the movie is being composed musically by Anirudh Ravichander. According to an early interview with the producer, Naga Vamsi, the film will feature two distinct timelines and separate plots for each segment.

Moving onto Vijay Deverakonda’s career, his recent appearance was as the main character in the movie titled “The Family Star”. This film, helmed by Parasuram, showcased Vijay as a man from a modest background, working diligently to provide for his family.
