The Castlevania IP from Konami is being shared with Vampire Survivor, and the Ode to Castlevania DLC, brimming with fresh Castlevania-themed elements for gamers to delve into, has been confirmed for release towards the end of this month.
This week, Poncle unveiled the details for their Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania DLC, set to release on various platforms including Android, iOS, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation on October 31, 2024. The upcoming content features a plethora of elements from Castlevania, such as more than 20 fresh characters, over 40 unique weapons, approximately 30 new music tracks, an expansive new map teeming with novel monsters and challenges, and additional features like a selector for similar weapons.
Vampire Survivors shares a similar aesthetic and soundtrack with Castlevania games, although they are distinct titles. When Poncle collaborated with Konami for Contra DLC in Vampire Survivors (referred to as Operation Guns), there were hints at a potential crossover.
