In tactical First-Person Shooter (FPS) games such as Valorant and Counter-Strike, skins serve dual purposes. They are not just essential income generators for the game’s creators, but they are also cherished elements for gamers.

Introducing Initiator Tejo

An initiator and ballistics expert, the Columbian Tejo brings a versatile arsenal to the team:

As I control my stealth drone, it silently hunts down nearby foes, marking them on its radar. With a quick press of the special delivery button, I can momentarily stun or blind the marked enemies, giving me the upper hand in battle.

Tejo tosses a device that emits bright light over a comparable distance and adheres to surfaces, much like the Neon Flash.

His ability resembles Molly’s from Kayo, but also mirrors Brimstone’s Smoke in that it enables you to precisely identify the enemy’s position on the minimap.

His skill is comparable to Molly’s from Kayo, and it shares a similar function with Brimstone’s Smoke, which is to specifically show the location of the enemies on the map.

An advantage when luring hidden enemies out of hiding.

As a die-hard fan, I must say that Tejo’s Ultimate is undeniably an ultimate ability. It masterfully unites the power of Breach’s Thor’s Hammer and Brimstone’s Air Strike, making it a formidable force in the game.

The ability targets a specific region on the map and launches a widespread attack, causing considerable harm to all adversaries within that zone.

Ideal for reclaiming bomb sites or creating spaces and launching attacks.

On the 8th of January, the highly favored collections will expand to include the ‘O Bundle’, showcasing a vibrant neon katana as its unique blade weapon. This collection has been generating quite a buzz on social platforms already.

Apart from the unique katana, the package comes with Vandal, Outlaw, Spectre, and Sheriff skin designs. You’ll find these skins available in four distinct color options for unlocking.

The final cost will be revealed upon release, similar to previous skin bundles, and we anticipate it to be approximately $80 or about 8,700 VP.

Further changes

As of 2025, Riot Games has ceased the production of new episodes, a practice that used to result in two episodes being released annually, each episode split into three parts.

At the end of each episode, and thus the competitive season, the rankings were reset.

Hereon, we’ll refer to these episodes as “seasons” and establish a yearly schedule for their release. The fundamental 6-act structure will persist, along with the semi-annual ranking resets.

From now on, we’ll call these parts of the story “seasons”, and there will be a calendar for when they come out each year. The way the story is told (in 6 acts) will stay the same, as will the twice-yearly updates to rankings.

In addition, the familiar Fracture and Lotus maps will be back in the ranked and deathmatch games.

Starting from patch 10.00, the maps in the game will switch based on acts rather than episodes. Unfortunately, Ascent and Sunset won’t be accessible for a while, but they’re expected to return soon.

Additionally, enhancements have been made to the explosion capabilities of characters like Raze, Sova, and Gekko. Now, their explosions won’t collide with environment structures, ensuring they cause damage more consistently.
