The free track rewards, including an Overlay Sheriff and a Silly Cat Spray, are just enough to whet my appetite, while the premium track with its Overlay Dagger and Animated Resting Wingman Spray is the pièce de résistance. And let’s not forget about the Nocturnum skinline! The ancient forbidden ritual-inspired weapons with their custom kill banners and finishers are sure to add a touch of terror and beauty to my gameplay. With a price tag of 8,700 VP, it might just break the bank, but hey, a gamer’s gotta do what a gamer’s gotta do, right? Oh, and let’s not forget about Noctis swallowing the world in darkness after I’ve finished off my enemies. Now that’s a sight to behold! So, mark your calendars for August 28th, folks. It’s gonna be a wild ride!

Valorant’s Episode 9 Act 2 is approaching swiftly! This upcoming act will introduce a brand new agent, following Clove from Episode 8, and fans are buzzing in anticipation for Riot Games’ latest sentinel addition to the team. Besides the previously mentioned free and paid battle pass prizes, Valorant Episode 9 Act 2 will introduce a novel skinline called Nocturnum. This “skinline takes inspiration from an ancient forbidden rite,” and it is “infused with enchanting elements that blend terror with beauty.”

In simpler terms, the Nocturnum weapons have personalized death notices and final moves. According to Riot, when you kill each enemy player once, the Nocturnum ritual is completed, summoning Noctis into your finishing move, engulfing the world in darkness. The melee weapon of the Scythe type comes with custom swipes and inspection animations, along with a special transformation feature where upon inspection, it changes between a scythe and dagger. The dagger has a unique right-click action, and includes extra visual effects and audio for all actions.

The Nocturnum skinline bundle costs 8,700 VP, and it includes the following weapons:

  • Phantom
  • Classic
  • Bulldog
  • Marsha
  • Melee (Scythe & Dagger)
