Based on recent reports from TMZ, it appears that Val Kilmer’s health has worsened considerably due to multiple health problems. A source close to his family shared that his cancer therapy had a profound impact on him, leaving him unable to leave his bed for an extended period.

Despite the fact that his cancer treatment proved effective, it seemed his body couldn’t withstand its effects. It was also observed that Kilmer was in a delicate state at the end of his life. In the days leading up to his heartbreaking passing, his health deteriorated significantly during his final week. It’s been disclosed that the Instagram video shared by Kilmer wearing a Batman mask, uploaded in February, was actually filmed several years prior. Consequently, this footage doesn’t depict how he appeared during the final months of his life.

For several years, Kilmer took a break from public engagements. His latest known public outing was at the Thespians Go Hollywood Gala in 2019, where he was spotted with his daughter, Mercedes.

Despite being absent from events, Kilmer’s social media platforms remained bustling. On February 17, he unveiled his exclusive, individually signed mementos to fans, and his latest artwork was posted on March 23.

Kilmer titled his piece, “It carries a soft, late-night radiance. Muted hues with a gentle warmth, reminiscent of a campfire that has cooled yet keeps you awake. Measuring 12 inches by 20 inches, it comes plexi-glazed, signed, and prepared for immediate hanging.
