As a long-time WWE fan with countless hours spent poring over wrestling lore and following every twist and turn of each superstar’s journey, I find myself intrigued by the latest development in Jade Cargill’s storyline. The attack on Cargill was certainly brutal and left many fans, including me, concerned about her well-being. However, upon hearing the conflicting reports regarding her injury status, I can’t help but feel a sense of relief tinged with curiosity.
On the most recent episode of SmackDown, WWE star Jade Cargill experienced a fierce assault by an unidentified attacker. This unfortunate event transpired during Jade’s tag team partner Bianca Belair’s bout against Chelsea Green and Blair Davenport.
During the Women’s United States Championship tournament, Belair found her teammate Cargill in distress backstage, unconscious and sprawled across a car windshield with injuries. Alarmed by this violent incident, Belair swiftly made her way backstage to offer assistance to the injured Cargill.
According to Fightful Select’s reports, WWE temporarily removed Cargill from television due to an unspecified injury, and there is no set date for her comeback. Yet, wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer speculates that Cargill might be out of action for at least three months, with the possibility of an extended absence beyond that.
Initially, Cargill was planned to participate in the Women’s WarGames contest at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. However, following an incident, Bayley has taken her place instead. Unfortunately, Cargill’s injury means she will be out of action for several months. Lately, fresh reports have emerged, suggesting a different account of the injury than what was initially disclosed.
Conflicting reports on Jade Cargill injury status
According to recent updates from PWInsider, the news about Jade Cargill’s injury might not be true after all. Multiple sources within WWE have confirmed that the stories about her being hurt are false. The assault on Cargill during SmackDown was actually part of a scripted storyline. WWE intentionally fabricated a list of injuries to make the attack appear more severe and establish a foundation for a future narrative.
According to recent reports from PWlnsider, it’s been clarified that there’s been some confusion about Jade Cargill’s health status. Contrary to what some have been saying, she is not actually injured.

As a fervent fan, if the rumors are correct and Jade Cargill isn’t genuinely hurt, it’ll be intriguing to see how WWE might creatively reintroduce her on our screens. This is particularly fascinating given that Bayley stepped in for Cargill during the Women’s WarGames match.
As a die-hard fan, I must admit, when it came to choosing our tag team partner for the big match, Bianca Belair initially hesitated to include Bayley. The suspense is killing me – I can’t wait to find out what compelling reason Cargill has for coming back after that brutal attack!
