As a dedicated WWE fan, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing Sami Zayn’s incredible journey to becoming Intercontinental Champion at WrestleMania 40. His victory against Gunther was a shocker that left fans in awe and proved once again that determination and hard work can pay off in the wrestling world.

At WWE WrestleMania 40, Sami Zayn, the current Intercontinental Champion, went head-to-head with Gunther, Chad Gable, and Bronson Reed for the title. However, it was Gunther who had been in possession of the championship for an impressive 666 days. The anticipation was high as many fans believed that Gunther would emerge victorious. But, they were taken aback when underdog Sami Zayn managed to pull off a surprise win against the formidable opponent, The Ring General, at wrestling’s most prestigious event.

After securing the championship title at WrestleMania 40, Sami Zayn has been a tenacious titleholder on Monday Night Raw. He has successfully defended his belt against Ludwig Kaiser, Chad Gable, Ilja Dragunov, and Bronson Reed. At King & Queen of the Ring, he faced his initial significant challenge, emerging victorious in a three-way clash versus Chad Gable and Bronson Reed.

I, Chad Gable, endured two consecutive defeats against Sami Zayn. However, I got another shot at redemption with a singles match at the Clash at the Castle in Scotland. Although I came very close to claiming the championship title, unfortunately, I didn’t quite make it. Following my loss, Sami Zayn faced his most formidable opponent yet – Bron Breakker.

Newcomer Bron Breakker made a big impact on the main roster this year by mercilessly defeating every opponent in his path at Money in the Bank event. Despite predictions that Sami Zayn would lose the title, he surprised everyone once more and managed to keep it. Unfazed by the loss, Breakker has set his sights on Zayn, determined to settle the score.

Ilja Dragunov has joined the fierce competition, sparking rumors among fans that WWE may stage a thrilling three-way clash for their upcoming extravaganza, SummerSlam.

This seems to be the move for Summerslam.

According to wrestling expert Dave Meltzer’s latest update, despite WWE’s suggestion of a three-way bout for Sami Zayn’s Intercontinental Title, the actual plan is set for a one-on-one title defense against Bron Breakker.

Despite Ilja Dragunov’s recent participation, the Intercontinental Championship match at #SummerSlam will feature Bron Breakker versus Sami Zayn, rather than a three-way contest.
