As a huge fan of Thai BL dramas, I can’t contain my excitement for “The Next Prince,” the upcoming series starring the beloved duo Zee Pruk Panich and NuNew Chawarin Perdpiriyawong. Their chemistry in Cutie Pie left us all craving for more, and The Next Prince has been a long-awaited project since its announcement back in 2022.
As a dedicated fan of Thai BL dramas, I have eagerly anticipated the release of “The Next Prince” since its announcement back in 2022. The upcoming series, which is set to hold its worship ceremony this week, has me both excited and anxious. With two of my favorite actors, Zee Pruk Panich and NuNew Chawarin Perdpiriyawong, at the helm, I have high expectations for this production.
In addition, The Next Prince generated excitement following the reveal of its first official pilot this year. More recently, the production held a fitting session where fans caught a glimpse of the cast in magnificent royal attire. With great anticipation, the project is now moving forward as it has announced an upcoming event.
The Next Prince to hold a worship ceremony
On Thursdays, the 18th of July, 2024, The Next Prince’s team will gather at Samyan Mitrtown for a prayer ceremony beginning at 9:09 a.m. (Indochina Time). In attendance will be everyone involved with the production. It is a common practice in Thailand to conduct such ceremonies before starting on a new film project, seeking blessings for good fortune throughout the production process.

When is The Next Prince’s expected release window?
Fans expressed their anticipation and opinions about the potential release year for “The Next Prince” in the comments section after the announcement of the worship ceremony. According to numerous comments, Zee and NuNew’s upcoming series are predicted to be released around 2025. Based on rumors, it is believed that filming for “The Next Prince” will commence following NuNew’s solo concert, scheduled for August.
According to Thai reports, producing a Thai television show typically requires two to three months of filming. However, this timeline can change based on the number of episodes. If The Next Prince starts shooting towards the end of August, it’s unlikely to air before next year due to post-production work. Patiently waiting fans will have to hold off for several more months before getting a peek at the new series.
