The very first glimpse of the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” has been released, showcasing Nicholas Galitzine holding the famous Power Sword.
The recently unveiled image hails from Mattel and Amazon MGM Studios. Although it doesn’t depict Galitzine fully dressed as Prince Adam/He-Man, it provides an intricate preview of the Power Sword and offers a glimpse into what Galitzine’s costume for the upcoming movie might be like, particularly focusing on its design.
Masters of the Universe will be released in United States theaters on June 5, 2026.

The primary cast of the live-action Masters of the Universe is spearheaded by Nicholas Galitzine, taking on the roles of Prince Adam/He-Man; Jared Leto steps into the ominous character of Skeletor; Alison Brie dons the evil mantle as Evil-Lyn; Morena Baccarin assumes the mystical position as The Sorceress; Camila Mendes portrays Teela; Idris Elba brings Duncan/Man-at-Arms to life; James Purefoy embodies King Randor; Charlotte Riley takes on Queen Marlena’s role; Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson plays Malcolm/Fisto; Sam C. Wilson becomes Trap Jaw; Hafthor Bjornsson brings Goat Man to the screen, and Kojo Attah assumes the character of Tri-Klops.
In addition to the main actors, we have Jon Xue Zhang joining as Ram-Man, Sasheer Zamata playing Suzie, and Christian Vunipola taking on the role of Hussein.
At the moment, specific details about the plot for Masters of the Universe are being kept secret. The current screenplay is by Chris Butler, while an earlier version was developed by David Callaham, Aaron Nee, and Adam Nee.
Back in 1982, Mattel unveiled Masters of the Universe to the world as a series of iconic action figures. The following year, the legendary animated show He-Man and the Masters of the Universe hit the screens and was one of the first children’s shows to air on television through syndication.
