What to expect from Unstable season 2

In the final episode of the first season of “Unstable”, Ellis, one of the Dragon boys, impulsively set fire to his rival’s car as an act of revenge. This unplanned action has left the biotech tycoon worried about potential imprisonment. As hinted in the trailer and the initial four minutes of season 2 revealed by Netflix, it appears that Ellis is already making arrangements for his anticipated jail term.

As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but notice that the video swiftly unveils Ellis won’t be spending time behind bars, all thanks to Anna’s influential ties. Furthermore, throughout season two, Ellis persistently tests Jackson, ensuring he’s ready to grasp the Dragon mantle when the moment arises. Undeniably, their relationship is far from straightforward, and there are still many hurdles they need to overcome together.

Check out the official season 2 synopsis via Netflix:

In season two of Unstable, universally admired, eccentric, narcissist-adjacent biotech entrepreneur Ellis Dragon (Rob Lowe) lays out a series of challenges and mind games for his son Jackson (John Owen Lowe) to see if he has what it takes to succeed him as the heir to the Dragon empire, but does a newcomer have other ideas?

In the upcoming Season 2, some fresh talents will join the ensemble, among them is Lamorne Morris, renowned for his roles in “New Girl” and “Fargo,” who will portray Peter – a biotech adversary to Ellis, promising an exciting clash of wits. Additionally, Iris Apatow, known for her work in “Knocked Up” and “The Bubble,” will take on the role of Georgia, Anna’s stepdaughter and the latest Dragon intern. It’s certain to be a delight watching these talented comedic actresses share the screen.

Definitely, there’s plenty to be excited about from the underestimated comedy series on Netflix, Unstable. If you’re in need of some laughter and want something less heavy, then this is just the show for you! The good news is that you can start right from the beginning without worrying about missing anything. In total, there are 16 episodes across both seasons, making it an excellent choice for a fun binge-watching session.
