Twisted Metal Season 2 Teaser Trailer Sets Peacock Release Date Window

The peacock network has unveiled the initial teaser trailer for Season 2 of Twisted Metal, the eagerly anticipated continuation of the popular action-comedy series inspired by the classic PlayStation game franchise. This announcement follows over a year since the series premiered its first ten episodes.

In the season two premiere, John and Quiet embark on a perilous journey as they join the ominous Twisted Metal tournament, a destructive derby orchestrated by the enigmatic Calypso. As they battle against lethal adversaries both old and new, the situation becomes even more intricate for John when he encounters his estranged sister, the avenging Dollface, who happens to be a vigilante.

When is the Twisted Metal Season 2 release date window?

Twisted Metal Season 2 is due to premiere on Peacock this year, expected to air in Summer 2025. The show’s cast includes Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, Will Arnett, Joe Seanoa, Neve Campbell, Richard Cabral, Mike Mitchell, Tahj Vaughans, and Lou Beatty Jr. For the second season, we’ll see new additions like Anthony Carrigan, Richard de Klerk, Patty Guggenheim, Tiana Okoye, among others. Notably, Carrigan will portray Calypso, one of the main villains from the original video game series in a recurring role.

The show is penned and overseen by Michael Jonathan Smith, who additionally acts as the head of production. Alongside him, Mackie, Arnett, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Marc Forman, Jason Spire, Peter Principato, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Hermen Hulst serve in executive producer roles. Kitao Sakurai takes charge of directing several episodes. The series originates from Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions, and Universal Television.
