Trivikram compares Samantha’s stardom with Rajinikanth: ‘I was just telling Alia Bhatt…’

As a dedicated follower of Tollywood and Bollywood, I can’t help but feel a surge of admiration and pride watching Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Trivikram Srinivas share the stage with Alia Bhatt. Their chemistry and camaraderie are a testament to their remarkable journey in the Indian film industry.

Trivikram Srinivas and Samantha Ruth Prabhu attended as special guests for the promotional event of Alia Bhatt’s film Jigra, which took place in Hyderabad. During the event, director Trivikram praised Samantha, comparing her significance in Indian cinema to that of superstar Rajinikanth.

In the video posted by Suresh PRO, the director mentioned that he recently discussed with Alia Bhatt how Rajinikanth is the unique actor who maintains a strong fanbase across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and various other languages. Besides Rajinikanth, it’s Samantha who also has a following in all these languages.

When the director concluded his remarks about Sam, my heart swelled with emotions and I found myself joining the crowd in a thunderous cheer for her, as she gracefully smiled seated beside Alia Bhatt. For those who may not be aware, Director Trivikram and I had previously collaborated on the blockbuster film Attarintiki Daredi featuring Pawan Kalyan, which was released back in 2013.

In subsequent years, the actor-director team maintained their winning run, releasing films such as “S/O Satyamurthy,” featuring Allu Arjun, and “A Aa,” which starred Nithiin.

In the same incident that took place in Hyderabad, Alia Bhatt applauded the Kaththi actress and labeled her as a “pan-Indian superstar.” Furthermore, the actress from RRR also admired Sam for her growth within the industry, emphasizing the challenges women face in a male-dominated world.

Moving forward, Samantha has been garnering attention following a controversy involving Telangana Minister Konda Surekha. This controversy arose when the minister suggested that Samantha’s divorce from Naga Chaitanya was due to the political influence of KTR, a member of the BRS party. Both Samantha and her ex-husband have criticized these comments, labeling them as false and baseless.

Regarding Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s professional endeavors, she is currently involved in the series titled “Rakt Brahmand—The Bloody Kingdom,” where Aditya Roy Kapur is her co-star. This production is a collaborative effort by Raj & DK, who are well-known for creating “The Family Man.” Additionally, Wamiqa Gabbi and Ali Fazal hold significant roles within the series as well.

In addition, Samantha will be taking on the principal role in the highly anticipated series titled Citadel, alongside Varun Dhawan.
