triple H, WWE’s top content executive, has disclosed that Paul Heyman is mentoring Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker. Being a second-generation WWE Superstar, Breakker carries on the legacy of his dad, Rick Steiner, and his uncle, Scott Steiner.
Ever since he started with WWE in 2021, Breakker has consistently left fans amazed. After a stint on the developmental brand NXT, he transitioned to the main roster the previous year. While he was part of NXT, he managed to secure a two-time NXT Championship title and shared a victory for the NXT Tag Team Championship with ex-WWE Superstar Baron Corbin.
Through strategic storytelling, WWE has positioned Breakker as an ascending superstar on the main stage. In less than a year, he’s managed to claim the Intercontinental Championship not once but twice. Rumors hint that WWE has significant plans for him at WrestleMania 31, with a thrilling multi-person ladder match being planned.

Triple H confirms Paul Heyman is now mentoring Bron Breakker
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Triple H talked about Bron Breakker’s swift progress within the WWE. He shared that Paul Heyman has been playing a significant part in crafting Breakker’s promos and overall character development.
He explained that the individual is quite young but exceptionally athletic, has an outstanding personality, and absorbs knowledge like a sponge. I have Heyman invest significant time in him to nurture his promos, build his character, and guide him towards specific directions. Later, Paul discusses with me and the writers about where we want to steer that talent, and then he serves as the channel for our intended path for that particular talent’s development.
Paul Heyman has significantly influenced the careers of wrestling stars such as Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. Currently, he is coaching Breakker off-stage. With Heyman’s tutelage, Breakker could potentially rise to become WWE’s next leading star. Fans caught a sneak peek of this possibility in 2023 during an episode of WWE NXT.
