Triple H Drops Major Hint About Goldberg’s WWE Return

As a long-time WWE fan who has seen it all, from Stone Cold to The Rock and back again, I can’t help but feel a rush of nostalgia at the prospect of Goldberg potentially returning to the ring! After all, who could forget those iconic spears and jackhammers that sent shivers down our spines?

Hinting at a potential comeback, WWE’s Head Content Officer Triple H subtly suggested that the legendary Universal Champion Goldberg might make a return. For some time now, Goldberg has been an independent figure in the industry, but his recent appearance at WWE Bad Blood 2024 has sparked speculation.

Previously, Goldberg faced off against Roman Reigns in WWE during the Elimination Chamber event held in Saudi Arabia back in 2022. Unfortunately for him, he dropped the WWE Universal Championship during that match. Following the bout, his contract with WWE came to an end, leaving him available for other opportunities as a free agent.

Over the recent weekend in Atlanta, Georgia, Goldberg was present at the WWE Bad Blood 2024 event, accompanied by his family. At this show, Triple H unveiled a fresh yearly event for WWE Crown Jewel. This special occasion will feature champions from both RAW and SmackDown’s male and female divisions going head-to-head. The victor of this competition would be declared the Crown Jewel Champion.

Gunther, the present WWE World Heavyweight Champion, strode into the ring. He announced his goal of claiming the Crown Jewel Championship, but then shifted focus towards Goldberg who was at ringside. The Ring General hurled some jabs at Goldberg, which made Goldberg eager to cross the barricade for a face-off. However, security swiftly restrained him before things escalated further.

When this part ended, spectators started pondering a possible encounter between Goldberg and Gunther. Triple H added more fuel to these speculations by reaching out to the WWE Hall of Famer.

Triple H’s message to Goldberg: ‘We’ll talk more very soon’

The Game recently sent a message to Goldberg on X, formerly known as Twitter. This ignited speculation about whether the Chief Content Officer hinted at Goldberg’s potential in-ring return. The Game shared a video from backstage at WWE Bad Blood 2024, where he talks about Goldberg. He wrote, “Thanks for coming to #WWEBadBlood @Goldberg. We’ll talk more very soon…”

Looking forward to the upcoming clash between Gunther and Goldberg! Following his successful title defense against Sami Zayn on RAW, Gunther is now poised to battle Cody Rhodes next. His goal? To claim a spot in the first-ever Crown Jewel Championship match at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on November 2nd.
