During their discussion, various topics regarding the upcoming NFL playoffs were covered, and the topic of Kelce’s potential retirement surfaced. Fans of the Chiefs have been pondering if the tight end might be planning to retire soon, but as of now, Kelce hasn’t made any confirmations on the matter.
During our conversation, Smith wondered about Taylor Swift’s viewpoint on Kelce’s decision to retire. However, Kelce clarified that she is strongly motivating him to continue enjoying his football career. She enjoys visiting Arrowhead Stadium and supporting him at the games, so he feels incredibly backed up in pursuing his dreams further.
The NFL star not only made it known that he stands by Taylor Swift, but also shared why he desired to attend her concerts – to be a source of comfort and support for her throughout her life’s endeavors. Kelce further emphasized this intention.
Travis Kelce has made it clear that retirement is not on his mind right now, as he’s fully focused on the game against the Houston Texans scheduled for January 18, 2025. In his own words, “I haven’t been achieving the same level of success on the field collectively as I have individually. However, I’m looking forward to these upcoming games at Arrowhead Stadium to wrap up this season.” He added, “As long as I’m putting up good performances out there and loving every moment spent in the locker room with my teammates, you can expect to see me wearing a Chiefs jersey.
