Trap Digital, 4K, and Blu-ray Release Date Set for M. Night Shyamalan Movie

As a die-hard fan of M. Night Shyamalan‘s twisted masterpieces and someone who has been through more than a few nail-biting suspenseful nights thanks to his films, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming release of “Trap”! Having grown up watching his movies like “The Sixth Sense” and “Unbreakable,” it’s amazing to see him continue pushing boundaries with innovative storytelling.


Warner Bros. Discovery has declared the 4K and Blu-ray launch date for the movie, with a digital version becoming accessible from August 30, 2024.

When is the Trap 4K and Blu-ray release date?

Starting from August 30th, you’ll have the chance to own “Trap” digitally on a premium basis for your home use, or rent it for 48 hours on various digital platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, Fandango At Home, and many others. In late 2024, “Trap” will be made available in 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD formats. The official release dates for the “Trap” 4K and Blu-ray editions are set for November 5, 2024.

In addition to announcing the release dates for both the 4K and Blu-ray versions, Warner Bros. Discovery has also revealed additional features that will accompany the film’s launch. These extras comprise of exclusive interviews, cut scenes, and other bonus content. For example, you can expect to find:

In a pop concert, a father and his teenage daughter find themselves unwittingly caught up in a mysterious and ominous situation.

In an interview with Empire Magazine, Shyamalan described Trap as being similar to “The Silence of the Lambs,” but instead set at a Taylor Swift concert. He also mentioned that this film concept was influenced by a genuine undercover operation known as Operation Flagship, which took place at the Washington Convention Center in December 1985.
