According to OTTplay’s report, the Netflix streaming service has temporarily postponed the release of the Tovino Thomas film due to disputes with its creators over pricing. The film’s disappointing box office earnings and unfavorable reviews have prompted Netflix to reevaluate and potentially lower their initial deal. The movie will become available for streaming once negotiations are finalized with a satisfactory resolution.
The film “Nadikar,” featuring Tovino Thomas, narrates the tale of David Padikkal, a former Malayalam superstar known for his acting skills, who now embraces the extravagance of stardom. Overwhelmed by his own importance, he allows his ego to take control, behaving impolitely and at times even walking off movie sets.
In a turn of events that drastically altered my world, an unfortunate accident involving a crew member during the filming of one of my movies led to its halt. This incident sent ripples through my life, causing it to spin in unexpected directions. Amidst the chaos, I found myself introspecting deeply, peeling back layers to rediscover the essence of who I am beyond the glamour and stardom that had come to define me.
In this film, directed by Lal Jr, we find actors such as Divya Pillai, Soubin Shahir, Balu Varghese, Suresh Krishna, Bhavana, Anoop Menon, and others in significant parts. Unfortunately, this production received generally unfavorable reviews from critics and ended up being a financial disappointment at the box office.
