The narrative revolves around a family of four: Dharmadas, his spouse Vasanthi, along with their sons named Nithushan and Mulli. Due to the financial hardship in Sri Lanka, they are compelled to relocate and find solace at the residence of Vasanthi’s brother Prakash, who resides in India.
The family chooses to conceal their Sri Lankan heritage and pretend to be Malayalees instead. As time goes by, they forge connections with their neighbors, fostering good relationships beyond initial advice for discretion.
As a potential dispute looms ahead, the entire film is filled with a humorous storyline brimming with heartwarming instances.

The film “Tourist Family” stars M Sasikumar and Simran as the main characters, with Mithun Jai Sankar and young actor Kamalesh Jagan playing significant supporting roles. In addition to them, the movie boasts an impressive ensemble cast that includes Yogi Babu, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bagavathi Perumal, Elango Kumaravel, Sreeja Ravi, and several other key actors.
The movie, funded by Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment, is penned and helmed by Abishan Jeevinth, who also portrays a character in it. The musical tracks and scores are produced by Sean Roldan, while the cinematography and editing duties were undertaken by Aravind Viswanathan and Barath Vikraman respectively.
