Tourist Family story

A Family Originally from Sri Lanka: Chronicles the tale of a family forced to leave their village due to an economic downturn. Headed by Dharmadas (Sasikumar), the family comprises his spouse Vasanthi, along with their two children Nithushan and Mulli.

While striving for safety, assisted by Vasathi’s brother Prakash, the family cross into India at Rameswaram. Upon their arrival, a team of police officers, headed by A. Bhairavan, detain the family, but subsequently free them once they establish their blamelessness.

The whole family successfully located a dwelling in Chennai and assumed the identity of Malayalees. Though Prakash had warned them to maintain a low profile due to their noticeable accent, they established warm friendships with all their neighbors.

In contrast, an explosion occurs in Rameswaram, with a relentless ACP pursuing the case. Now, the police are persistently chasing after Das and his relatives, as they frantically search for those responsible for the bombing.

Through a series of highs and lows that Das and his family face, they navigate these challenges with an innocent and humorous demeanor. Over time, as days pass, the family unveils their Sri Lankan heritage to their neighbors, culminating in the touching tale of a reformed alcoholic’s past, which leaves everyone in the neighborhood appreciating the family’s kindness.

Currently, the authorities are venturing into the settlement on a mission to locate Das and his kin, but return empty-handed. Perplexed, Das ponders over their evasion from police capture, and it is later disclosed by one of the earlier encountered constables that the neighbors did not betray them; instead, some sympathetic individuals with similar accents managed to help them escape.

Led by Sasikumar, this movie features a talented group of performers such as Simran, Mithun, Jai Shankar, Kamalesh Jagan, along with several others, in significant parts.
