1. Suriya’s Kanguva Trailer date out!
Following a great deal of excitement, the creators of Suriya’s upcoming project titled Kanguva have at last unveiled its trailer release date. On their official Twitter account, Studio Green, the producers of Kanguva, disclosed that the trailer will be premiered on August 12th.
As they unveiled it, they also showcased an engaging and mysterious poster, starring none other than Suriya. In a costume reminiscent of a period piece, the actor appeared almost unrecognizable against a backdrop of a grand, wing-like structure. The multi-regional film is set to hit theaters on October 10, 2024.
2. Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s engagement
2024 saw Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala officially declare their relationship as husband and wife, with the exchange of wedding rings on August 8th. This special moment was shared by Nagarjuna, the actor’s father, who posted some enchanting photos from the private ceremony.
At his engagement, Chay donned traditional white clothing, which included a kurta, veshti, and doshala. In contrast, Sobhita was radiant in a saree with peach and pink tones. Her understated yet elegant appearance at the event left everyone awestruck.

3. NTR 31 release date out
After more than 2 years of Jr NTR announcing his collaboration with Saalar director Prashanth Neel, the past week finally witnessed a big update on NTR 31 (tentative name). Yes, that’s right.
Mythri Movie Makers revealed on their official platform that the joint project by the actor-director team will hit cinemas on January 9, 2026. They have marked this date for a grand, widespread premiere.
Apart from this, the creators additionally held a sacred pooja event, where the actor from RR, accompanied by his wife Lakshmi Pranathi and their two sons, were present. The director of the film, Prashanth Neel, also participated in this pooja ceremony.
4. Yash begins shooting for Toxic

Ravi Teja’s character appears to be grappling with personal hardships while battling against corrupt powers.
The short film highlights Ravi Teja, a tax inspector, and his love connection with Bhagyashri Borse. The narrative centers on corruption and fairness, as the Dhamaka star pursues uncovering ill-gotten riches amassed via unethical means.
Under the label of People Media Factory and helmed by director Harish Shankar, the film starring Amitabh Bachchan is set to hit theaters on Independence Day, August 15, 2024.
