Tony Khan Names Top Star as the Face of AEW’s Network

As a long-time wrestling fan and avid gamer of AEW’s interactive games, I can’t help but be impressed by Tony Khan‘s roster and their impact on the promotion. The likes of MJF, Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, Chris Jericho, and now Adam Copeland have made AEW a force to be reckoned with in the world of professional wrestling.

As an ardent fan, I’d express it this way: I’m thrilled about Tony Khan, AEW’s brilliant president, who’s gathered an impressive roster of top-tier talents such as MJF, Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, Chris Jericho, and Adam Copeland. Recently, he made a significant move by appointing Adam Copeland, the former TNT Champion, as the face of AEW’s esteemed broadcasting partner, TNT.

As a dedicated gamer following All Elite Wrestling (AEW), I’ve witnessed some incredible moments from MJF, Omega, Strickland, and Jericho. Each of these stars has held the coveted AEW World Championship title. Currently, it’s Swerve Strickland who rules as champion. Upcoming at “All In” pay-per-view, he’ll defend his belt against Bryan Danielson at Wembley Stadium. Danielson secured this opportunity by triumphing in the Owen Hart Tournament on Dynamite, besting Hangman Page in the final match.

As an avid fan, I’ve witnessed how big names like MJF, Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, and Chris Jericho have played crucial roles in AEW’s triumph. Yet, the arrival of former WWE sensation Adam Copeland last year at WrestleDream has left an indelible mark on the promotion as well. At first, Copeland engaged in a fierce rivalry with his long-time friend Christian Cage. However, he eventually claimed the prestigious TNT Championship for himself back in March.

After securing the TNT Championship title, Adam Copeland put on an impressive series of matches against newcomers such as Daniel Garcia and Matt Cardona, as well as seasoned wrestlers like Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews, and Brody King. However, his winning streak was abruptly ended at AEW Double or Nothing.

At AEW Double or Nothing, Copeland’s condition took a turn for the worse when he leaped from the cage during his bout, leading to a fractured foot. Due to this injury, Copeland was compelled to give up his TNT championship title. As Copeland recovers from his injury, Tony Khan has been publicly acknowledging Copeland’s valuable past performances for All Elite Wrestling.

Tony Khan calls Adam Copeland’s recent run legendary

Tony Khan, AEW’s president, spoke with SportsGrid about Copeland’s position in the promotion. According to Khan, Copeland’s recent stint with AEW represents the most exceptional phase of his distinguished career. He expressed, “Copeland was not only the TNT Champion but also the face of our other network. His current tenure might be the best stretch of his impressive and lengthy career, which is truly remarkable given the numerous outstanding matches and successful runs he’s had.”

Khan went on to say, “His performances in AEW have been outstanding, which I’m very proud of. He was on an impressive winning streak. Sadly, he got hurt and had to give up the TNT title. However, we’ve welcomed many excellent newcomers to AEW over the past year.”

Due to the uncertainty surrounding when Adam Copeland will make his comeback, a new figure has arisen as the TNT Championship holder: Jack Perry. It remains to be seen whether Copeland, who hasn’t relinquished the title, will go after it once he returns.
