Tomb Raider fans are running out of time to grab new Lara Croft skin

Tomb Raider fans running out of time with Lara Croft’s most recent return

In March 14th, 2022, Lara Croft, one of Fortnite’s most beloved crossover skins from 2021, made a comeback to the battle royale game, debuting a fresh new skin inspired by her gothic persona from the game “Angel of Darkness.

1) The quality of this skin is outstanding for several reasons. Firstly, Angel of Darkness has gained immense popularity due to Lara’s darker appearance alone. Secondly, it became available in Fortnite a month after the release of the exceptional remastered trilogy of Tomb Raider 4-6.

Sadly, the skin and related accessories will be removed from the store starting at 8PM EDT on March 21st, as announced on the official Tomb Raider website for Angel of Darkness.

If you’re fond of Lara Croft or have been intrigued by a specific skin, now might be the ideal time to make a purchase as it is scheduled for removal. It may reappear in the shop at some point, but its return isn’t guaranteed and could take quite a while.

Below is everything new related to TR in the item shop:

  • Outfit: Lara Croft (2000s)
  • Customizable Accessories: Pants, Shorts, Vest, Glasses
  • Back Bling: Tomb Raider’s satchel
  • Wrap: Croft Legacy
  • Pickaxe: Chiruagi
  • Emote: Atlantean Cion
  • Car Decal: Tomb Raider
  • Tomb Raider Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Regarding the upcoming Tomb Raider installment, here’s what we currently know: Crystal Dynamics is working on TR12 using Unreal Engine 5, and it will be published by Amazon Games. This new game aims to present a single, continuous narrative for Lara Croft, with the Survivor Trilogy serving as her official canon, meaning all previous timelines converge within this series.

Currently, Aspyr has not announced any further official remakes. However, we’re hopeful that they will also enhance Lara Croft’s past splendor by remastering the Lara Croft trilogy, specifically Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld.

In the realm of gaming updates, it appears that a potential title for PlayStation Plus in April 2025 might have been accidentally revealed, and there’s confirmation of a strong Game of the Year (GOTY) candidate set to debut on day one.
