As a gamer, I’m pumped about my upcoming roles! Fresh off joining Christopher Nolan’s next epic, The Odyssey, I’m now gearing up for another thrilling ride as Spider-Man in an MCU film this year. On top of that, you’ll see me teaming up with Austin Butler in the sports drama American Speed – The Partner. Can’t wait to share these adventures with all of you!

What is The Partner about?

As a gamer, I’d rephrase that synopsis like this: “I, Patrick Lanigan, was a young partner in a Biloxi law firm with a shady past. In a desperate bid for freedom and a fresh start, I staged my own death in a fiery car accident. Left behind were my devoted wife, our newborn daughter, and a secret life that I had meticulously constructed. Little did they know, the $90 million I’d swiped from a crooked client was the key to my new life in South America. But fate has a way of catching up, and when the client discovered his money missing from offshore accounts, he embarked on a relentless hunt for the lawyer he believed was dead. Caught between a life I left behind and the danger lurking in my past, I had no choice but to turn myself in to the FBI.

In simple terms, the screenplay for the upcoming movie “The Partner” will be penned by Graham Moore, who is known for writing “The Imitation Game.” Additionally, the production of this film will be handled by Will South and Rideback, which acquired the rights to the novel following its initial setup at New Regency. At present, neither a director nor a release date has been confirmed for the project.
