The recent encounter between Tom Holland and Carlos Alcaraz at Wimbledon 2025 has drawn quite a bit of interest. During a brief pause in Alcaraz’s training, Holland dropped by to say hello. Their discussion culminated with Holland suggesting a golf game, which Alcaraz enthusiastically agreed to.

2025’s Wimbledon tournament took an unexpected twist when I crossed paths with actor Tom Holland on the practice court, just before my quarter-final match against Cameron Norrie. In a friendly exchange, we sparked quite a buzz about a possible golf showdown!
As a thrilled fan, I can’t help but share this delightful interaction! Wimbledon posted a video (previously on Twitter) featuring Carlos Alcaraz chatting with Tom Holland. Alcaraz playfully commented on Holland’s golfing abilities, saying, “Tom! I saw you playing golf too. Nice swing, nice swing, right?” With a beaming smile, the tennis star exclaimed. Holland responded eagerly, “We should play some golf!” To which Alcaraz happily agreed, with Holland promising, “I’ll give you my number and we’ll arrange a match.” What a fantastic exchange between these two talented individuals!

After winning against Norrie in straight sets, Alcaraz brought up the topic during his post-match interview, commenting that if they ever played golf together, he’d give it his all. He mentioned that he’s seen Norrie play on occasion and has even seen some videos of him playing golf. In his opinion, Norrie could potentially beat him at golf.
Alcaraz’s upcoming match is slated for Friday versus Taylor Fritz. Interestingly enough, he mentioned his desire to play against him on a golf course as well. He considers it an honor and plans to arrange it during the next couple of days when he has more free time.
In a past encounter, Alcaraz and Holland have met before. Notably, Holland, known for being passionate about tennis, was present with Zendaya at the 2023 BNP Paribas Open final held in Indian Wells. It was there that Alcaraz emerged victorious.
In addition to Holland, the attendees at Wimbledon 2025 were graced by stars such as Monica Barbaro, Andrew Garfield, Charithra Chandran, Nick Jonas, and Naomi Ackie.
