Tom Hardy on Ending Venom Trilogy: The Last Dance Leaves ‘Nothing Left Out’

As a long-time fan of both Tom Hardy and the Venom character, I am genuinely thrilled about the upcoming film, Venom: The Last Dance. Having followed this series since its inception, I can confidently say that the title itself promises an emotional and action-packed conclusion to Eddie Brock’s story.

The Final Act”.

In “Venom: The Last Dance,” Eddie and the Venom symbiote, portrayed by Tom Hardy, make their comeback. This movie marks a farewell appearance for the character within the Marvel universe. Scheduled to be released in cinemas on October 25, this final adventure promises an exciting conclusion.

Additionally, this film represents the first time at the helm for Kelly Marcel, who has previously penned scripts for both 2018’s Venom and its sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which was released in 2021.

What did Tom Hardy say about ending Eddie Brock’s story with Venom: The Last Dance?

In an interview with ScreenRant, the actor who starred in Mad Max: Fury Road shared that they poured a tremendous amount of work into Venom: The Last Dance, making further sequels unnecessary.

In this movie, everything we wanted from our kitchen sink of ideas is included. This film presents the truest portrayal of Kelly and myself, offering a bounty of possibilities within the character’s realm, and choosing to pass through a specific lens to establish the desired tone and progression. We are motivated to persist on this creative path because it’s simpler to soften elements than to take risks and make a bold statement. It’s more straightforward to suggest reducing certain aspects rather than increasing them.

He went on to explain, “As for the content in The Last Dance, it’s a creation of both Kelly and my imagination. While some parts may be imaginative, nothing is omitted. It’s meticulously selected and presented, even down to the shots. It mirrors the thoughtful process of someone deeply invested in their work. Moreover, I must emphasize that this was her directorial debut at such a high level. The very first day on set, symbolically speaking, is truly astounding. So I am incredibly proud of you, Kelly Marcel.

Apart from Hardy, the third Venom film also features actors like Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.
