In a recently conducted interview, it has been revealed that the seasoned actor undertook an exhilarating aerial maneuver for the upcoming Mission: Impossible 8.
The depicted scene features Tom Cruise hanging onto the wing of a 1930s Boeing Stearman biplane, zooming through the air at an astounding 10,000 feet. In an interview with Empire, Christopher McQuarrie stated, “This film includes stunts that will leave you bewildered. On any given day in Africa, Tom would go out and perform a feat surpassing anything he’s ever accomplished before.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but marvel at the sheer audacity of Tom Cruise’s plane stunt for Mission: Impossible 8. He himself confessed that it was an extraordinarily challenging feat, stating, “When you protrude your head beyond the plane, reaching speeds of around 120 to 130 miles per hour, you’re essentially oxygen-deprived. This required me to learn new breathing techniques. There were instances where I would lose consciousness; I found it impossible to regain control and reenter the cockpit.
Despite what’s been said, the eighth film in the long-running series of Mission: Impossible promises even more daring stunts than the famous plane act, as suggested by McQuarrie. In conversation about a secret stunt for Mission: Impossible 8, the director expressed his discomfort, calling it incredibly intense.
