Tokyo Ghoul comes to Dead by Daylight in April 2025

The upcoming chapter of content for Dead by Daylight has been announced, and this time it’s a collaboration with the horror action manga and anime, Tokyo Ghoul! Starting in April, players can expect the addition of Ken Kaneki, the main character from the series, as a new killer in the game. Additionally, there will be new character-themed cosmetics for existing characters within the game.

This week, Behaviour Interactive revealed details about the upcoming Tokyo Ghoul chapter for Dead by Daylight in a press release. On April 2, 2025, the Tokyo Ghoul content will debut, featuring Kaneki as the new killer, The Ghoul. In the anime, after receiving an organ transplant, Kaneki transforms into a half-monster with a craving for human flesh. Despite his efforts to control it, his ghoul powers continue to erode his humanity. In the game, players will be able to utilize Kaneki’s ghoul abilities to boost his mobility and swiftly chase down survivors across the map.

Alongside the character The Ghoul Slayer, a variety of cosmetics are being added to Dead by Daylight from the anime. The Ghoul will have not one but two new outfits – the Awakened Ghoul Costume and the Rize Kamishiro Outfit (inspired by the character who transformed Kaneki into a ghoul). Moreover, Yui Kimura will don the Rabbit Costume, Renato Lyra will wear the Hide Costume, Nea Karlsson will adopt the Eto Costume, and four Tokyo Ghoul-themed Masks will be available for The Unknown, Jonah Vasquez, Jake Park, and David King.

On April 4th, you’ll get a chance to witness Keneki from Tokyo Ghoul in action within the Dead by Daylight game. Keep an eye on our Dead by Daylight discussions for further updates and insights.
