Summary
- TOHO confirms production of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2
- The new season is set to premiere sometime in 2026
- Crunchyroll has acquired the overseas streaming rights for the series, excluding Asia
After the conclusion of “My Hero Academia: Vigilantes”, TOHO has officially announced that a new season is currently being made.
According to the manga “My Hero Academia: Betten Court” by Hideyuki Furuhashi, Kohei Horikoshi, and Betten Court, the first season of the anime was led by director Kenichi Suzuki (known for “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders”) in terms of direction, and scripted by Yosuke Kuroda (associated with “My Hero Academia”). The animation production is managed by Bones, featuring a creative team that includes character designer Takahiko Yoshida, art director Yukihiro Watanabe, and music composer Yuki Hayashi, who has previously worked on “My Hero Academia”.
As a devoted fan, I’m eagerly awaiting the unfolding of Season 2, though the specifics of the plot remain undisclosed for now. The narrative is expected to pick up from where it left off in Season 1. Excitingly, the series is scheduled for release in 2026, and will be available for streaming globally on Crunchyroll, excluding Asia.
