Carrying Over Elements From World To Tour
Following the remarkable performance of “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” on Nintendo Switch, the company responsible for this gaming giant’s franchise unveiled its new hardware era by debuting the sequel as a launch “Mario Kart World” for Nintendo Switch 2. This new game has generated quite a buzz since its announcement and has been a sales hit, despite its slightly higher price tag.
Regardless, enthusiasts are eager for more, as many discussions about the game revolve around anticipation for potential new content through updates.
Even though this is the case, fans remain hopeful and are talking a lot about the game, expressing their excitement for possible future updates that could add fresh content.
Given the profusion of costumes and karts in Nintendo’s 2019 free-to-play mobile game, Mario Kart Tour, which was consistently updated until early 2023, it seemed clear that their approach was as follows: Introduce new features to their game, which relies on gambling mechanics, initially on the mobile platform. Later, these additions could be transferred to a traditional Mario Kart game.
Now, however, the opposite seems to be true.
