Today, the gaming company known as “Super Evil Megacorp” has launched the initial downloadable content (DLC) for their action roguelike game titled “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate”. Entitled “Casey Jones & the Junkyard Jam“, this fresh content is now ready to be obtained across all supported platforms, such as Nintendo Switch, personal computers (PC), and mobile devices.
Casey Jones playable in TMNT: Splintered Fate DLC
One key feature that stands out in the TMNT: Splintered Fate expansion is the introduction of Casey Jones as a playable character. He may not be the most refined fighter, but his immense power more than makes up for it. The expansion also introduces a brand-new Junkyard level, along with fresh adversaries and bosses. Additionally, you’ll find five new artifacts to collect. For a sneak peek at this exciting new content, be sure to watch the trailer below.
Upon overcoming Karai, you’re given the option to explore the Streets, or venture into the Junkyard for a fresh storyline. In the Junkyard, join Casey, the Punk Frogs, their mechanic, Gigi, and even more of the Punk Frog gang in an exciting new adventure.
As a fan, I’d rephrase that as: “Even though a junkyard isn’t typically cozy, the Punk Frogs have transformed it into their unique haven. The inviting glow from the burning barrels, the safe and refreshing pools of water, the creative graffiti by the frogs adorning the surroundings – I can’t think of anything more appealing!
Originally released in November 2024, TMNT: Splintered Fate has consistently received updates from its developers since then. The most recent update, a hotfix, was introduced in January, focusing on enhancing the game’s controller support.
In the game TMNT: Splintered Fate, the additional content known as Casey Jones & the Junkyard Jam DLC currently retails for $6.99 across all platforms. Yet, Steam users can enjoy a temporary discount of 15%, bringing the price down to $5.94. For those who are new to the game, a bundle that includes the base game and this DLC is available on Steam at a reduced price of $22.64. This offer makes it a great bargain compared to the regular price of $36.98 for both items.
