Tinasha’s Mastery god roll – Destiny 2

Tinasha's Mastery god roll - Destiny 2

As a seasoned Guardian with countless hours under my belt in the Destiny universe, I can confidently say that Tinasha’s Mastery is a game-changer, especially for those who appreciate a versatile and powerful Sidearm. The god roll for this Stasis Rocket Sidearm is nothing short of extraordinary, offering both damage output and control options in PvE, while keeping Crucible veterans guessing with its unexpected punch in PvP.

In Destiny 2, Tinasha’s Mastery is the latest Stasis Rocket Sidearm introduced during the Revenant expansion. This Iron Banner reward comes equipped with an array of impressive perks, making it a top choice for PvE players and a potential asset for Crucible veterans to explore. If you manage to obtain its optimal build (or “god roll”), keep it close as it could be invaluable in defeating Champions efficiently.

How to get Tinasha’s Mastery

As a dedicated Destiny 2 gamer, I’ve got my eyes set on Tinasha’s Mastery – an exclusive Iron Banner weapon drop. This bad boy only makes an appearance during brief intervals in the game. To get your hands on it, you gotta work your way up the ranks with good ol’ Lord Saladin. Once you hit the mark, this beauty could be yours as a potential reward after wrapping up a match. Once unlocked, don’t forget to focus engrams on Saladin to secure the roll that suits you best. Keep an eye on our Iron Banner schedule to stay in the know about when this mode will make its next appearance.

Tinasha’s Mastery god roll – PvE

For PvE players, there are some exceptional Tinasha’s Mastery god rolls available. These can either become formidable damage dealers or be geared more towards managing the ebb and flow of battle.

BarrelQuick Launch (Velocity +10, Handling +15)
MagazineAppended Mag (Magazine +3)
Perk 1Air Trigger (Increased ammo reserves. When airborne, accuracy and reload speed are increased but target acquisition is decreased)
Perk 2Chill Clip (Direct hits with the top half of the magazine cause a detonation that slows nearby targets)
Origin TraitSkulking Wolf (While at low health, Guardian final blows with this weapon grant enhanced radar and remove you from opposing radar)
MasterworkReload Speed (+10 when fully masterworked)
ModStunloader (Stunning a Champion partially refills this weapon from reserves)

Initially, the unique advantage of pairing Air Trigger and Chill Clip caught my attention, as Reddit user Samosin highlighted its potential. In essence, this duo transforms the device into a Champion-stunning powerhouse. The Air Trigger features a built-in ammo amplification boost, while leaping increases your reload speed dramatically, mimicking an in-air Field Prep effect. With all this additional ammunition at your disposal, you can repeatedly stun Champions without needing an artifact perk for assistance.

In this scenario, you might find yourself requiring around three reloads to complete it, but that gives you a good amount of ammunition without necessitating an additional weapon type for the Grandmaster Nightfall. By applying Stunloader, you’ll appreciate not having to worry about reload speed at all. If you need more speed in other areas, you can replace the reload speed Masterwork with handling instead.

If you’re looking for high damage potential (but can’t acquire The Call with its ideal god roll), strive to secure One For All in the last perk row, or even Frenzy or Surrounded if available, and Impulse Amplifier as your first perk selection instead.

Tinasha’s Mastery god roll – PvP

“What makes Tinasha’s Mastery god roll particularly impressive for PvP is the surprise factor. Not only does it launch rockets incredibly fast, but it also significantly increases the damage, which often catches opponents off guard who believe they have enough health to withstand the attack.

BarrelQuick Launch (Velocity +10, Handling +15)
MagazineHigh-Velocity Rounds (Velocity +10, Reload Speed +10)
Perk 1Impulse Amplifier (Massively increases projectile velocity, increases reload speed)
Perk 2Adagio (After defeating a target, this weapon fires, charges, or draws more slowly and deals increased damage for a brief time)
Origin TraitSkulking Wolf (While at low health, Guardian final blows with this weapon grant enhanced radar and remove you from opposing radar)
MasterworkVelocity (+10 when fully masterworked)
ModAerodynamics (Blast Radius +6, Velocity +6)

It’s obvious that each benefit enhances the bullet’s speed. The goal is to decrease the bullet’s journey duration, leaving your opponent with limited response, relocation, and counterattack time.

In general, I’m not particularly fond of Adagio, but when it comes to Tinasha’s Mastery, its 30% damage boost can be quite overwhelming. Although it prolongs the firing duration, a single shot is often enough to vanquish most opponents who are already weakened. Given that the fire rate is slow to begin with, delaying the next shot by a brief period is tolerable.
