Searchlight Pictures unveiled a fresh video promo for their upcoming biographical drama titled “A Complete Unknown“, focusing on the life of legendary folk-rock artist Bob Dylan. This movie is set to hit cinemas nationwide on December 25, 2024.

The movie is based on the powerful music environment of New York City during the early ’60s, tracing the rapid ascent of 19-year-old Bob Dylan from Minnesota, a budding folk singer, to packed concert venues and chart-topping success – his tunes and enigma captivating audiences worldwide – leading up to his revolutionary electric rock and roll performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965.

The movie “A Complete Unknown” was made under the guidance of James Mangold, who co-wrote the script with Jay Cocks. It’s adapted from Elijah Wald’s book “Dylan Goes Electric.” Jeff Rosen, Dylan’s longtime manager, is also involved as a producer, along with Mangold, Bob Bookman, Alan Gasmer, Peter Jaysen, Fred Berger, and Alex Heineman. In addition to Dylan, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Andrew Rona serve as executive producers for the film.
