Marvel unveiled the debut trailer for their forthcoming MCU film, The Thunderbolts, featuring stars like Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, and David Harbour.
In a delightful three-and-a-half-minute clip, we witness the heartwarming reunion of Florence Pugh’s character Yelena and David Harbour’s Red Guardian. This exciting collaboration from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to release on May 2, 2025. This upcoming appearance will be Pugh’s third time gracing the MCU screens, having previously played roles in Black Widow and Hawkeye.

Thunderbolts is a film helmed by director Jake Schreier, who collaborated with screenwriter Lee Sung Jin on Netflix’s Beef series. The script was initially drafted by Eric Pearson. It focuses primarily on a group comprising mainly of supervillains and antiheroes. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige hinted in an interview that the asterisk (*) at the end of the title serves a specific purpose, which will be unveiled post-release.
