A fresh take on the concept artwork for Marvel Studio’s Thunderbolts has surfaced online, revealing a revised appearance for Olga Kurylenko’s character, Taskmaster.
What does the new Taskmaster concept art show?
Artist Aleski Briclot recently shared on Instagram an early concept design of Taskmaster from the upcoming film. As per Briclot, this different portrayal of the character was motivated by a stealthy, black-ops aesthetic.
In this piece, Briclot began by referencing her prior appearance, maintaining some subtle aspects such as shapes and energetic lines. His intention was to create a more somber, BlackOps-inspired look. He aimed to capture an appealing visual atmosphere for the film after studying the script.

The Marvel Studios movie titled “Thunderbolts” hit theaters this month. This action-packed film is helmed by director Jake Schreier and features an impressive cast including Florence Pugh portraying Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Wyatt Russell in the role of John Walker/U.S. Agent, Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster, Lewis Pullman playing Bob Reynolds/Sentry, Geraldine Viswanathan as Mel, Wendell Pierce taking on Gary, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus assuming the character of Valentina Allegra de Fontaine.
