In the recently revealed Thunderbolts concept art, Ava Starr/Ghost (portrayed by Hannah John-Kamen) is seen sporting a significantly altered outfit.
Earlier this month, Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts hit the big screen. This movie is steered by director Jake Schreier, featuring an impressive ensemble cast. Among them are Florence Pugh portraying Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Wyatt Russell assuming the role of John Walker/U.S. Agent, Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster, Lewis Pullman stepping into Bob Reynolds/Sentry, Geraldine Viswanathan playing Mel, Wendell Pierce taking on Gary, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus embodying Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. Additionally, Hannah John-Kamen is also part of the lineup.
What does Ghost’s costume look like in the new Thunderbolts* concept art?
On Instagram, visual artist Aleksi Bricot posted fresh Ghost concept art for the upcoming Marvel film. In his own words, he began with her previous appearance, aiming to capture a BlackOps aesthetic that reflects her character’s evolution and the movie’s overall tone.

*Note: The Thunderbolts is a fictional superhero team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
In 2018, John-Kamen first appeared as a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe through Ant-Man and the Wasp. She, along with Pugh, Stan, Russell, Pullman, and Harbour, are set to reprise their roles for Avengers: Doomsday, which is now being filmed and slated for release in December 2026.
The synopsis for Thunderbolts states that Marvel Studios gathers an unusual gang of antiheroes: Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, and John Walker. These disheartened individuals, ensnared by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, are compelled to undertake a perilous journey that will compel them to face the deepest recesses of their pasts. Will this troubled crew tear each other apart or discover redemption and unite as something greater before it’s too late?
Thunderbolts* is currently playing in United States theaters.
