However, the Marvel boss denies it, saying fans can get to know the meaning behind the Asterisk in the movie, hinting that it is connected to a spoiler in the movie.
Why is the Thunderbolts team called that?
Ever since the Thunderbolts movie was announced at Comic-Con 2022, fans have been eagerly anticipating Harrison Ford’s portrayal of Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross in his Red Hulk form, given the team’s name shares a resemblance with his. However, during the 2024 SDCC, Kevin Feige dashed these expectations by revealing to the host that Thunderbolt Ross will not feature in the movie. He clarified that the title of Thunderbolts does not refer to the character of Thunderbolt Ross.
