About Thug Life

In simpler terms, “Thug Life” is an action movie with Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR as the main characters. The story revolves around Rangaraaya Sakthivel, an elderly crime boss from the mafia world who took in a young boy named Amaran after a gunfight in Delhi.

In time, the man treats his foster child as if he were his biological offspring, molding him into a powerful figure within the criminal underworld. Unavoidable events cause Sakthivel to entrust his adopted son with command over the gang, resulting in growing tension between them.

Over the course of the movie, the narrative unfolds as a deadly confrontation between father and son, culminating in one of them meeting an untimely end.
