Amazon Games and NCSoft have unveiled information about their significant upcoming free expansion for the MMORPG, Throne and Liberty, named Wilds of Talandre. More insights into this update were disclosed through a recent in-depth video (watch it below).
The untamed landscapes of Talandre are set to enrich the gameplay experience in Throne and Liberty, introducing fresh territories, equipment, formidable foes to conquer, and challenging 3-star dungeons designed for advanced players.
Initiating our discussion, the video delves into the third significant expansion coming to Solisium with the update – the prominent region known as Talandre. This new expansion nearly doubles the current map size within Throne and Liberty. The territory will be divided into six distinct zones, each offering a unique narrative for players to explore.
In addition, Talendre will house three expansive Abyss Dungeons, one of them being Crimson Mansion – the largest among the new additions to Throne and Liberty. This massive dungeon boasts four levels, providing players with ample opportunities to delve deep into its depths and experiment with their tactical positions during battles.
In the studio’s plan, both of the newly introduced dungeons will simultaneously debut as a strategy to distribute players more evenly between various zones and dungeons. These upcoming dungeons promise a tougher test for players compared to those seen in Throne and Liberty so far.
As an eager player, I’m thrilled about the upcoming addition to Throne and Liberty – Deluzhnoa, the colossal halberd-wielding figure seemingly entombed in ice. This new Archboss is set to bring a chilling experience with its unique mechanics centered around ice. Moreover, engaging in combat with this frosty titan could potentially reward players with brand-new weapons!
Regarding weapons, there’s an upcoming change in the Weapon Mastery system. After the update, players will have the freedom to choose the specific weapon they wish to enhance via the game menu, no longer requiring it to be equipped constantly. The chosen weapon will accumulate Weapon Mastery points, which can then be utilized to unlock unique abilities tailored for that particular weapon category. Under this new setup, each weapon’s Weapon Mastery can progressively level up to a maximum of 200.
Apart from introducing fresh group material, the addition of Wilds of Talandre will also feature solo dungeons for individual players to conquer. These solo dungeons offer an opportunity to acquire better equipment and gain practice, preparing them for the more difficult group challenges ahead.
Supporters of Player versus Player (PvP) action are in for a treat, as Nebula Island has been introduced. This fresh territory is divided into six distinct areas, each offering its unique blend of Player versus Player (PvP) and Player versus Environment (PvE) activities. Remarkably, four of these new zones will always support PvP combat, thereby fostering uninterrupted player conflicts.
