Thousands Sign It Ends with Us Petition To Remove Blake Lively From Credits

The ongoing dispute between Blake Lively and her co-star Justin Baldoni in the movie ‘It Ends with Us‘ has taken another twist, with an online user initiating a petition to remove Lively from the film’s credits. This legal disagreement began in December 2024 when Lively filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni. In response, Baldoni counter-sued not only Lively but also her husband Ryan Reynolds and other parties involved. The situation is growing more complex as a Change.org user has started a petition to exclude Lively from the movie’s credits.

Petition to remove Blake Lively’s It Ends with Us credits gets almost 10K signatures

Besides playing the main character in It Ends with Us, Blake Lively is also involved in the production of the movie. A new campaign on Change.org aims to take away her producer credit from the film’s end credits.

In the name of Jaziel Hernandez, this appeal is made: “We kindly request the Producers Guild of America (PGA) to withdraw Blake Lively’s producer credit from the film ‘It Ends with Us.’ This credit was acquired not through genuine merit or substantial contribution, but by means of coercion and threats instead.

The “The It Ends with Us” petition strongly disagrees with giving credit to Blake Lively, arguing it weakens industry standards and disregards those who genuinely earn their titles. We advocate for honesty and ethical practices in filmmaking. This recognition should not be given to Blake Lively. Join us in signing this petition to call for accountability and to ensure that only those who significantly contribute to a production receive the recognition they deserve.

The request for Lively’s name to be taken off the credits for It Ends with Us is almost reaching its target of 10,000 signatures. As of now, over 9,300 people have added their names to the petition. However, there’s a lot of debate online about whether this petition will actually be able to make the change it aims for.

The trial involving Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has been scheduled to start on March 9, 2026.
