They’re Back… and Still Angry: The Curse of the Third Flock of ‘Angry Birds’

Global screenings of “The Angry Birds Movie 3″ are set for January 29, 2027, courtesy of Paramount Pictures. For quite some time now, this date has been earmarked in Comscore as a potential release for a family-oriented film. The first two installments, distributed by Sony, amassed an impressive half billion dollars in global box office earnings combined.

In Angry Birds 3, the returning voice actors – Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Rachel Bloom, and Danny McBride – will once again breathe life into the characters Red, Chuck, Silver, and Bomb.

The newly added actors are Emma Myers, Keke Palmer, Tim Robinson, Lily James, Marcello Hernandez, Walker Scobell, Sam Richardson, Anna Cathcart, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Nikki Glaser, James Austin Johnson and Psalm West. In simpler terms, we’re bringing on board Emma Myers, Keke Palmer, Tim Robinson, Lily James, Marcello Hernandez, Walker Scobell, Sam Richardson, Anna Cathcart, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Nikki Glaser, James Austin Johnson and Psalm West as part of our new cast.

In the third installment, John Rice, known for “The Angry Birds Movie” and “Beavis & Butt-Head Do the Universe,” will take on the director’s role. The screenplay will be written by Thurop Van Orman, who has previously worked on “The Angry Birds Movie 2” and “The Marvellous Misadventures of Flapjack.” Additionally, both Thurop and Toru Nakahara (from “Sonic the Hedgehog”) will serve as executive producers.
