They Call Him OG: Silambarasan TR confirms singing in Pawan Kalyan starrer, Tamannaah Bhatia to join?

The movie titled “They Call Him OG,” featuring Pawan Kalyan, has been under production for a while and is currently resuming filming. Fans are excited to hear any news, as it’s been announced that Silambarasan TR has recorded a song for the film.

In his latest event for Thug Life promotions held in Hyderabad, Silambarasan TR hinted at an upcoming song. Further, he expressed that composer Thaman did an exceptional job, and singing for actor Pawan Kalyan had long been a cherished dream of his.

Additionally, there are whispers suggesting that Tamannaah Bhatia could be part of the upcoming song. Yet, the production team has not yet confirmed this speculation.

Besides Pawan Kalyan, the movie boasts a star-studded cast featuring Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, and several others in prominent roles.

Conversely, Silambarasan TR is gearing up for a theater release on June 5, 2025, with the film titled Thug Life. This Mani Ratnam production is a gripping gangster action drama that was jointly written by him and Kamal Haasan.

The movie narrates the story of Rangaraaya Sakthivel Nayakar, once a notorious gangster who saves a child named Amaran during a shootout and raises him thereafter as his own. As time passes, it is believed that Rangaraaya has perished, causing speculation to fall on Amaran.

Currently, Sakthivel embarks on a journey to settle scores with Amaran, turning their confrontation into a deadly contest where only one survives. The film features prominent actors such as Kamal Haasan and Simbu in lead roles, alongside Trisha Krishnan, Joju George, Nassar, Ashok Selvan, among others, who take on crucial parts.

In the future, it’s been announced that STR will be part of an upcoming film, provisionally named STR49. This project will see him sharing screen time with actors Kayadu Lohar and Santhanam.
